Materials:
Brush
Flat Iron
Blow Dryer
Hair Spray
Mousse
Shampoo&Conditioner

Step 1: Wash your hair thoroughly
Step 2: Roll it into a towel for about 20 minutes
Step 3: Blow dry it until it's dry
Step 4: Turn on your flat iron and straighten your hair, section by section to make it as straight as Avril's in the image
Step 5: Brush your hair so you have no knots
Step 6: Apply a light mousse coating on your hair and pat it down lightly to keep your hair from frizzing. Add hairspray if you'd like

Materials:
Hair brush
Hair clips
Hairspray

Step 1: Brush your hair thoroughly and backcomb the back to help with the next step
Step 2: Take a handful or two [depending on the thickness] of your hair on the back of your head near the top and roll it up loosely and clip it down
Step 3: Spray hairspray to keep your hair controlled but don't use too much
Step 4: If you'd like to, add a black headband to finish the look off
